Bristol Food Producers (BFP) is a pioneering and innovative producer led partnership of independent growers, farmers, retailers, restaurants and distributors. We have a common aim to upscale local food production in the city (growing, processing and distribution), and our four strands of work are:

  1. Creating routes to markets for producers
  2. Providing access to appropriate training
  3. Improving access to land and resources
  4. Strengthen relationships to allow people to work together collaboratively and create a supportive network

Developing appropriate training is a key part of our work and we have been working with the Landworkers’  Alliance to bring accredited City and Guilds Horticulture training to Bristol to provide accessible and affordable training in food production in the city.

We are recruiting someone to deliver accredited City and Guilds Horticulture Training (Level 1 and 2) courses in Bristol, with a focus on organic and agroecological growing methods. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to help develop and shape these courses with us as an organisation over the coming years, and we are keen to recruit someone who is committed to this in a long term way.

We particularly welcome applications from people with ethnically and/or culturally diverse heritage, or people who do not currently see themselves represented in the food and farming movement.
