Unusual Edibles is a speciality fruit and veg producer researching the diversity of edibles plants that can be grown in Bristol and providing exciting unusual and tasty produce to Bristol chefs and the public. While not organically certified Unusual Edibles is committed to only using natural permaculture based growing methods that build soil and conserve resources. Including no dig beds, homemade biofertilisers and forest garden stacking systems combining perennial and annual plants. Increasing the diversity of plants we grow has many benefits for wildlife and this translates into an exciting diversity of tastes on our plates too! Unusual Edibles is based at Avon Wildlife Trusts, Grow Wilder project (formerly Feed Bristol).
